Forbes has named Minikai on its 30 Under 30 Asia list for 2026, in the Healthcare and Science category. The recognition goes to two of our three co-founders, Chief Executive Officer Keoki Alexander-Chang and Chief Growth Officer Freddie Hedegaard, who founded the company with Chief Technology Officer Ky Shera-Jones.
Forbes describes Minikai as a Melbourne-based startup that uses AI to help healthcare professionals take notes, generate patient history summaries and track changes in a person's condition, with a focus on those working with people with disability and older people. It notes the $2.5 million seed round led by Tidal Ventures and the platform's availability in Australia and New Zealand.
