In an opinion piece for The Australian Financial Review's BOSS Most Innovative Companies report, Cognizant's Rob Marchiori reflects on what the 2025 entries reveal about Australian business: more than 80 per cent now use AI, a sharp rise from 30 per cent the year before.

Minikai is one of the standout examples he cites, described as a new business that uses AI to manage compliance for aged and disability care so carers can spend more time with the people they support, alongside Fleet Space, Xero, Apate.ai and Prophet.
